Our trajectory

From detection and early identification (Frailtek) to prevention (Falco)

In the annuities of 2015 and 2016, the consortium has worked on the FRAILTEK project, focused on the detection and early identification of frailty. The result of this project is an initial protocol for the multidimensional characterization of the frailty syndrome, as well as several prototypes of technological solutions for its assessment including:

  • A system for assessing the strength in the upper extremity
  • A prototype for balance/postural control assessment
  • A prototype for sitting assessment
